How to connect wire in ELCB

how to connect wire in ELCB

A single phase voltage ELCB includes six terminals namely 1.line in 2.line out 3.neutar in 4.neytral out 5.earth 6.fault

1)The metal body of the load is associated with the fault terminal of the earth leakage circuit breaker, and earth terminal is associated with the ground.

2)line in terminal is associated with the incoming phase supply, and line out terminal is associated with the outgoing phase supply.

3)neutral in terminal is associated with the incoming neutral supply and neutral out is associated with the outgoing neutral supply.

CONNECTION ELCB

For usual working voltage across the trip coil is zero.

As the load body is isolated from the supply line.

when an earth fault happen on the load due to the interaction of line wire with body.

A current run through the fault to ground.

A flow of the current will set up voltage across a trip coil which is associated with earth and fault.

This energised the trip coil
